Yoga with Weights Demo Class

This class blends the grounding principles of yoga with light resistance training, using 2-3 lb weights to build functional strength without sacrificing the breath-centered awareness that makes yoga so effective. We begin easing into a warm-up that wakes up the whole body before moving through a sequence of classic poses and movements including goddess, lunges, bicep curls, and arm flows, using the weights to gently challenge your muscles while staying connected to form and alignment. The pace is intentional and slow, with a strong focus on moving safely and with purpose. We close the final 10 minutes on the floor with long, luxurious stretches to release what we've worked, followed by savasana.

This class is led by Jess, who brings a rich background in P90x, PiYo training, yoga, and SOULfusion to every session. Her approach is grounded in technique and care, so you'll always feel supported and guided.
