Intro To Aerial Yoga

This workshop will held at Sundara Yoga Studio and will focus on using a silk fabric called a ‘hammock’ or ‘swing’ to support the weight of our bodies, helping us achieve various postures with more depth, ease and lighthearted fun. This is a great introduction to different poses using the hammocks and will give beginners an opportunity to take it slow and explore how to use the hammock to their advantage.
This workshop will also allow participants the opportunity to learn some more advanced poses if desired. We will workshop different ways to use the hammock for inversions to lengthen and decompress the spine, as well as ways to strengthen the core. This is a fantastic way to become more comfortable with the hammocks and play while allowing your body to decompress. Previous yoga experience is helpful but not required.
